Programs for Seniors (50+)
The Senior Center is a place for adults age 50 or better. We offer a wide variety of classes, special events, day trips, fitness programs, card playing groups, social clubs and more! Everyone is welcome, so bring a friend with you! A few of the activities and programs include Tai Chi, Wii Bowling, Quilting, Billiards and much more. The Senior Center is located at 665 Barrington Ave. in Carpentersville. It is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Day Trip Refund Policy
Because we must finalize full payment six weeks prior to our event, the following procedures are always in place: If you must cancel your day trip, we will do our best to find a replacement. When a replacement is found, our Park District will issue a full refund. If we do not find a replacement, we are unable to refund your money. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
Annual Art Show | Saturday & Sunday | September 26 & 27 | 10:00 am-4:00 pm
Over 100 paintings on display and for sale from a variety of area artists. Come meet the artists, enjoy refreshments and a raffle. All proceeds from the raffle go to the DTPD Senior Center.
A fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn but can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for
experienced players. Equipment provided; must wear athletic shoes.
